Lisa has a long career including 18 years at HgCapital, a leading private equity firm investing in software and services businesses, where she ran the team working with their portfolio of investments.  Since leaving HgCapital, Lisa has worked as an independent Chair person with a number of private equity backed companies – all technology enabled and all looking at organic and acquisitive growth opportunities.

Ambition

Lisa is passionate about helping businesses to succeed.  Working with the teams to be the best they can be and watching the business thrive is extremely rewarding

About

Lisa is Australian and lives with her husband and 2 children in Sussex.  She loves travel, reading, cooking, dogs and horses.

Eric DunmoreConnect with Eric Dunmore

CEO

Responsibilities

Eric is in charge of the Group strategy and leading the Group’s development plans.

Experience

Eric has 15 years of exposure to the payroll sector and 17 years experience in professional services prior to this, giving him a firm understanding of the sector. In addition, he has been in many executive and non-executive roles which have provided him with experience of private equity and other external funding sources as well as many business acquisitions and disposals.

He has worked with a range of management teams to collaboratively grow them and the businesses they worked with.

Ambition

Eric brings drive, energy and enthusiasm to all the businesses he is involved with. As well as grasping the “big picture” he is capable of mastering the detail of processes and situations to help the team arrive at potential solutions and implement those solutions swiftly.

About

Personal passions are business, cycling, Liverpool Football Club, sport, cars, food – cooking and eating out, politics and learning new things!

Dan BrookerConnect with Dan Brooker

Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities

Dan is responsible for all the operating activities across the Group. This ranges from the implementation of new clients to the running of the outsourced teams and the software support. Dan is also focused on driving commercial opportunities which arise.

Experience

Dan is a Chartered Accountant who has worked across practice, industry and in private equity.

He has spent the last 10 years either working for, or in private equity to identify the drivers behind businesses and looking at ways to grow them. Since joining the PSSG Dan has moved from commercial executive to Group COO.

Ambition

Dan loves seeing the potential in SMEs and how with a bit of professionalisation, you can supercharge the growth. He can quickly understand opportunities and match them to the data the business has, to drive change which falls to the bottom line.

About

Dan is sports mad but doesn’t get to play as much as he would like. He still gets in the odd round of golf, but mainly enjoys sport as a spectator these days. 

Michelle MarinosConnect with Michelle Marinos

Chief Finance Officer

Responsibilities

As CFO Michelle manages financial planning and risk. She is responsible for financial reporting and analysis.

Experience

Michelle has over 30 years of financial experience in a wide range of sectors, with a variety of structures and funding.  She has been a CFO for 12 years and in this time has been involved in expansions, acquisitions and an exit. She has formed and managed many finance teams and undertaken many finance process reviews and improvements.

Ambition

Her goal is to help businesses maximise their value and ensure her team fully support the operators to run the business effectively.

About

Michelle has a large family in Norfolk and Cyprus and loves to spend time with them whenever possible.  She likes to spend her time eating good food with friends and going on long walks.

Chief Sales Officer

Responsibilities

Ed is responsible for sales and marketing across the group.

Experience

Ed is an entrepreneurial sales leader, with 18 years of experience working in high pressure sales and sales leadership roles.

Ed has experience in closing software and outsourcing deals from £1,000 to £12 million, running high-volume sales pipeline, executive marketing strategies, and selling new products and services into the market.

Ambition

Ed loves sales, equally comfortable pitching to a CEO as he is making cold calls alongside a junior sales person. Transforming a sales team into a high performance sales machine is his goal.

About

Personal passions are boxing, walking in nature with family, and meditation.

Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities

James leads the group’s product and technology strategy, setting the direction for innovation and growth. He oversees engineering delivery, ensuring platform scalability, security, and reliability. His focus is on driving product innovation and aligning technology with business objectives, while building and mentoring high-performing development teams.

Experience

As the founder of Capture Expense, James successfully scaled the platform into one of the leading expense management solutions in the UK and Ireland. He brings a proven background in designing and delivering complex SaaS products, with a strong track record in shaping product strategy, driving customer adoption, and achieving operational excellence.

James is committed to creating world-class SaaS products that are both powerful and simple to use. His vision includes expanding innovation across AI, automation, and conversational interfaces, supporting rapid growth with secure and scalable technology foundations, and fostering a culture of high standards, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Director of Sales

Responsibilities

Tom leads Cintra’s Sales and Solution Consulting function, driving growth by enabling the team to deliver exceptional buyer journeys that stand out from the competition.

Experience

With a career in B2B tech transformation, Tom has led both enterprise and SME sales strategies, built high-performing sales processes, and worked closely with product teams to bring scalable solutions to market.

Ambitions

Tom is focused on scaling Cintra’s insight-led, high-performing sales engine—helping customers solve real workforce challenges while empowering the sales team to win consistently.

About

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and indulging his passion for motorsport as an avid petrol-head (though he wishes he had more time for it!).

Chloe has experience working for companies of different sizes in various industries. She is both highly analytic and creative which has given her a diverse skill set, beneficial in all areas of marketing.

She is driven by seeing how strategic marketing can help drive results and loves watching companies grow and reach their potential. She believes it’s important to never stop learning and that you can do almost anything you put your mind to.

About

Chloe relocated from London to the North East in 2021 and loves spending time outdoors, running and cycling. She enjoys developing her skills outside of work too and has qualified as a yoga teacher and reflexologist.

Director of HR

Responsibilities

Sarah leads the strategic direction, performance and growth of Cintra’s HR offering, spanning outsourced HR services and the customer experience of CintraPeople HR. She is accountable for end-to-end product performance and operational delivery.
Alongside this, she leads Cintra’s internal people function, shaping organisational strategy, culture and the overall employee experience.

Experience

With more than four decades of senior HR experience, Sarah has led complex people strategies across diverse sectors.  Her expertise spans talent acquisition, capability development, employment law and the delivery of large-scale HR operations.

Ambitions

Sarah is driven to position Cintra as a best-in-class HR provider for both its internal teams and outsourced clients. She is passionate about building employer confidence in navigating legislative change and helping organisations stay compliant while anticipating and adapting to what’s coming next.
Ultimately, her focus is on creating workplaces that are engaged, productive and supportive – where high performance is built on strong people foundations.

About

Born in England with Welsh heritage, educated in South Africa and having spent 30 years in Australia, Sarah admits to having divided loyalties when it comes to world rugby. Guided by a lesson learned from her father: “It’s far better to be spontaneous and make mistakes than to never take risks and live a life of mediocrity”, she approaches life with curiosity and courage.

Director of Payroll

Responsibilities

Nik provides strategic leadership across Cintra’s payroll division, overseeing specialist teams that support the full client journey—from onboarding through to live service and beyond—ensuring a consistent, aligned approach at every step.

Experience

With over a decade in payroll across multiple organisations, Nik has built deep expertise leading both support and delivery teams. Since joining Cintra in 2022, he has progressed from Payroll Operations Manager to Director of Payroll.

Ambitions

Nik thrives on turning payroll complexities into clarity for clients, ensuring they get maximum value from our service. He’s passionate about building high-performing teams and continuously improving processes and systems, all in service of delivering best-in-class payroll that empowers Cintra’s clients to grow.

About

Outside of work, Nik loves spending quality time with his family, exploring new places, and enjoying the outdoors. He’s also a huge Newcastle United fan, though he wishes he could make it to more matches!

Director of Finance

Responsibilities

Sarah leads the Finance team for Cintra and the wider Payroll Software and Services Group.

Experience

Sarah joined Cintra in summer 2023 as Group Finance Manager, progressed to Head of Finance in 2025 and was promoted to Director of Finance in 2026. She brings a wealth of experience from a diverse range of industries including fast-paced SME environments.

Sarah is passionate about building high-performing teams, simplifying processes, and using technology to drive efficiencies in the business. With a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail, Sarah is committed to evolving the finance function to meet the needs of a growing organisation.

About

Outside of work, Sarah is a keen traveller and loves discovering new places and cultures. She’s also a big fan of eating out and enjoys exploring new restaurants and cuisines.

Director of Product Development

Responsibilities

Jess leads Cintra’s product development function, working closely with our Chief Technology Officer to shape and deliver a roadmap aligned to company strategy, customer needs, and market demand. She is responsible for ensuring the product portfolio continues to evolve in line with regulatory change and Cintra’s long-term platform vision.

Experience

With over thirty years of experience in payroll and HR software, Jess has built her career at Cintra and played a central role in shaping the product over many years. She brings deep expertise in UK payroll compliance and a strong track record of delivering robust, practical solutions that meet the complex needs of HR and payroll professionals.

Ambitions

Jess is motivated by building products that make complex HR and payroll processes simple, accurate, and reliable, taking satisfaction in meeting real customer needs.

About

Jess loves the outdoors, and enjoys walking and cycling in Northumbria.

Stephen Pearson-SmithConnect with Stephen Pearson-Smith

Director of IT and Cyber Security

Responsibilities

As Director of IT and Cyber Security, Stephen is responsible for Cintra’s technology and security landscape, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and support the organisation’s operational needs. His role focuses on protecting sensitive payroll and HR data, maintaining reliable infrastructure, and enabling teams through well-governed, practical technology.

Experience

With over 20 years’ experience working in highly regulated environments, including the NHS and the legal sector, Stephen brings deep expertise in IT operations, security, and service delivery. His background spans cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, and business-critical systems, with a strong hands-on approach shaped by real-world operational demands.

Ambitions

Stephen is focused on strengthening Cintra’s security and resilience while reducing complexity for users. His ambition is to use automation and technology responsibly to improve reliability, reduce manual effort, and ensure IT remains a trusted enabler for the business.

About

Outside of work, Stephen is the Consort to the Deputy Mayor of South Tyneside and is proud to contribute to the local community. He is also the founder of Pride in Hebburn, which is now entering its third year, reflecting his ongoing commitment to inclusion, community engagement, and positive local impact.
